Care and Protection Reforms Commence 29 October 2014
The Child Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2014 has made a number of reforms to the Care and Protection jurisdiction of the Children’s Court. The reforms commence on Wednesday 29 October 2014. Changes have been made in relation to: Parent Responsibility Contracts, Contact Orders, Permanency Planning, Supervision Orders and Prohibition Orders. The reforms also introduce Guardianship Orders and Parent Capacity Orders.
